After 27 years in private practice, I’ve seen the audiology business landscape evolve, making it clear that clinical excellence alone is no longer sufficient. Today, allied medical professionals need a broader skill set and the adaptability to reimagine the private practice model. My own success as a private practitioner is rooted in continuous learning, drawing insights from business, marketing, sales, and communication leaders. Guided by my motto, “What got me here won’t get me there,” I am passionate about enhancing client experiences and have shared my expertise at various audiology events.

With challenges such as over-the-counter (OTC) devices, big-box competition, and shifting regulations, private practitioners must balance clinical care with sound business management to achieve sustainable growth.

The consultation is payable by cash / card on the service day. For patients on medical aid, an invoice will be emailed to you which can be used to claim back a portion of your consult fee (this amount is dependent upon your medical aid plan).
